The Pilates method of body conditioning is a unique system of lengthening, strengthening and stretching exercises. As current trends move away from the bulky, muscular body type, Pilates lengthens, while toning muscles, actually improving flexibility and creating a more streamline body. Pilates creates a more “balanced body” by working the body as a whole. Old exercise regimes often overwork the larger muscle groups, creating an imbalance. Many Pilates exercises work the smaller muscle groups, which in turn support the larger ones, strengthening the entire body. This method is excellent for preventing and often healing injuries.

Pilates Mat Classes

Like no other pilates mat work in town!! This class has taken Joseph Pilates’ technique to a new level. Staying within in the Pilates integrity, this class was designed specifically to slim the hips and thighs, as well carve out those abs. Core work at it’s best.
